Over The Top = Chanel Fall 2014 Bags

If it wasn't enough that Karl created that crazy cool supermarket set for the Chanel Autumn/Winter 14 Collection - then the accessories were definitely out of the park. I mean classic Chanel flap bags {meat coloured - gross sorry I'm a veggie} wrapped in what looked like Saran Wrap and stamped 100% agneau/leather. Who says you can't have fun with fashion! Karl certainly does.

Mary-Kate Olsen's Vintage Cartier Engagement Ring

Mary Kate is sporting an absolutely incredible vintage Cartier ring given to her by French banker boyfriend Oliver Sarkozy - obviously he as great taste because the ring is unlike anything.
Its been discovered that the ring is a vintage Cartier piece from 1953 and features a four carat diamond framed by 16 sapphires and petal set with  single cut diamonds. Priced at $81,25o, it was bought at a Southeby's auction on February 6 and originally belonged to a Tennessee based jewellery collector.

Here she is arriving at the Louis Vuitton Autumn/Winter show with her new ring.

Grey Liner + Bubbled Hair

The subtlety of this look is just gorgeous and minimal. Pat McGrath created this look for the Valentino show using a subtle grey liner to define the eyes. This is on my list for upcoming spring ever though it was created for the Fall/Winter 2014 look. Add a pretty pink lip and  you're set. And lets talk about the hair - I love this hair bubble effect and  if you don't have hair that long just add an extension.

Transition To Spring

I love both these looks below - an easy way to transition to spring! The perforated leather jacket on actress Miriam Giovanelli is so perfect, paired with a great pair of slim jeans and black ankle boots Or the second look on Nieves Alvarez - a statement/sporty sweat top with printer shoulders teamed with skinny leather pants and boots.

Chanel In The Supermarlet

This is probably Kart Lagerfeld's most exciting and adventurous projects to date - he transformed the Grand Palais into a life sized supermarket stocked with Chanel of course. for the Autumn/Winter 2014 Collection.
Probably an expression of super consumption for such an adored brand. Imagine a whole isle of Chanel teas, giant cheese stall, veggies, dairy products, mounds of caviar, packets of Chanel goat stamped with the CC logo, wines, olive oil etc. There was even a hardware store featuring Chanel rubber gloves {for the women where money is no object!}, Chanel doormats {very prove} Chanel feather dusters and yes a Chanel chain saw too.

Saint Laurent Rocks for Fall 2014

Hedi Slimane's invitation to the Fall 2014 show was a mini art book of John Baldesarri's artwork. of which three couture dresses turned up on the runway engulfed in shimmery embroidery numbers in editions of 10, and only available in a limited edition.
The overall feeling of the show - Rocker Girls in a mix of baby doll dresses with flat boots , plaid overcoats and capes, studded leather jackets and sparkly gitter shoes {yes please}.
