Stella's mother {Linda} passed away of breast cancer in the late 90's and the Linda McCartney foundation was set up. For breast cancer awareness month the designer has teamed up with close friend Kate Moss and designed this lingerie set to help promote the design. Part of the proceeds of the sale of this set will go towards the new mammography centre at the hospital centre in Liverpool.
Stella said, ‘I wanted to remind women that when they wear this set, the first thing they put on in the morning, to keep on top of their health and visit their doctor regularly. I wanted it to be the initial starting point of awareness of this terrible illness. Not only does the set serve as a healthy reminder, but it looks great, fits incredible well, and is comfortable and stylish.’
